Should I go to university or get a job? Bespoke sessions
This is a pupil session which will give pupils the facts to help them make a decision about whether they should go to university or not. Workshops providing case studies and the latest UCAS , finance, careers and the job market information. There will also be opportunities available to explore alternative career qualifications and learn how to be entrepreneurial.

The Tutbury Ghosts
After numerous requests, the course to provoke the imagination that so many have asked for!! Tutbury Castle, scene of so much history stretching back to Anglo Saxon times, like a moving curtain that occasionally opens into the present day. One of the most haunted sites in the country, Lesley Smith will tell you the stories of the characters that still show themselves to a few...Mary, Queen of Scots, Ellie, the servant girl, 'The Keepers Ghost' and 'The White Lady'. You will also have the chance to visit 'The King's Bedroom', ('a very haunted place') scene of many strange and unexplained happenings, many come out of the room with a feeling of light-headedness or......you make your own mind up!

CSI Thinktank
C.S.I Thinktank Pupils will take a step into the world of crime and become a crime scene investigator for the day. They will learn how to use science to collect evidence and then analyse it to find the suspects.

The Talented Gymnast
A chance for young gymnasts to be coached at The National Sports Centre, Lilleshall, with its array of gym facilities used for training our top sports men and women. The course will be led by Mike Weinstock, who is the manager of our 2010 Commonwealth Games Gymnastic Squad.

The Dragon's Hoard
Let Lesley Smith and Dr Gareth Williams from the British Museum take you into the myth and legend (with a fair bit of fact as well) behind the greatest discovery of Anglo Saxon treasure ever found, 'The Staffordshire Hoard'. Is this the treasure that the great dragon reputedly protects?

A Day in Three Dimensions
Would you like your pupils to work hard and get their hands dirty; to create their own sculptural responses to the gallery; to discuss what modern and contemporary art is and create a team sculpture? If so, the New Art Gallery Walsall is hosting an intense day for gifted and talented pupils exploring sculpture with artist Benny Semp, and the Head of Education for the gallery Zoe Renilson.
